Do you know that you are a child of God?
Do you know that you are loved by God?
Do you know that God's love for you will never run dry?
Do you know that God is forgiving- no matter how many times you mess up?
In this season, the Holy Spirit is deepening my understanding about the love of God. He is calling us to walk more in his love and is calling us to put our complete trust and hope in Him.
Our minds will never be able to fully understand or comprehend the level, and depth of love God has for us- but with each day, the more we meditate on scripture and feed our spirit with God's word- the more we will begin to walk in His love and pour out his love to others.
Hold your head up! Look to the hills from where your help comes from! All of your help comes from the Lord!
As we go into the weekend, here are some scriptures you can write on the tablet of your heart as you begin and continue to draw near to God and experience his love!
"for God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life"
John 3:16
"for I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans of good and not of evil plans to give you hope and a future"
Jeremiah 29:11
"So now faith, hope, and love but the greatest of these is love"
1 Corinthians 13:13
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me"
Galatians 2:20
"God shows his love for us in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us"
Romans 5:8
"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are"
1 John 3:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"
Romans 8:1
May your heart be strengthened and encouraged with these powerful words of the Lord. Remember we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. We are no longer a slave to sin and bondage and have been granted a clean slate in Him! We have been redeemed bought with a price!
So here's a prayer for you:
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love surpasses all knowledge- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do exceedingly above all that we could ever think or imagine, according to his power that is at work in us, to him be all glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen
